by Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino on September 6th, 2013

I am very honored to issue my Best Ever You Blue Ribbon Award to Kate Chaplin and Amy Pauszek for their movie Ingenue.  Congratulations and keep up the super hero work.  Love, Elizabeth
Since it's sold-out IMAX premiere in Indianapolis, Ingénue has been winning over audiences at film festivals and conventions nationwide.

Ingénue is a family-friendly sci-fi film about a married couple that finds a human analog in hyper-sleep in their basement. The Analog, a woman appearing to be in her 20's has the intelligence of a toddler. The couple decides to raise the analog and teach her what it means to be human and a woman.

Coming up for the film is a screening at Railroad City Comic Con in Durand, Michigan. September 21-22. There will be two showings. Saturday at 2:30pm and again on Sunday at 12pm. Writer/Director Kate Chaplin and Actor Craig Lemons will be in attendance.

Past screenings of the film have been at the River Bend Film Festival, Independent Filmmakers Convention, Nickel Plate Arts Weekend, and the world's largest gaming convention - Gen Con. Gen Con said that Ingénue was a "film not to be missed."

More world-wide screenings are coming up in the year.

The DVD and the companion book are available to order at KarmicCourage.com for $12.

More About Ingenue

Ingénue fills a void that Hollywood misses, a strong, commercial story with an inspiring message about the strength of family. With light science-fiction overtones, Ingénue is a feature-film about a married couple who finds a human analog in their basement. The Analog appears to be a woman of the age of 20 but in reality she is a clone with the intelligence of a toddler. After being blackmailed by big business, the couple takes on the task to raise this analog and teach her what it means to be human. Feature film written & directed by Kate Chaplin. Produced by Karmic Courage Production in association with Vimar.
