Discover How to Be Your Best
Make a Choice to Meet Pina De Rosa
by Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino on February 26th, 2013

How did you get to be where you are today?
Oh goodness, that is a long road, considering it all started in Italy where I was born, then French-speaking Switzerland where I was raised, moving to the US at 18, with a few months of living in Mexico & London in between ~ how I got here is A) the books my parents gave me B) an open spirit to keep following the YESes in life C) learning to trust, even when I may not like it or feel uncomfortable…

 Have you ever been fired?
Once I quit and once we had a mutual partying of the ways.

What are your real passions?
Human Potential, Story-telling that inspires action, and Wellington, my GoldenDoodle

If you won the lotto what would you do?
I’d keep my same job as a Mindset Effectiveness Expert / Speaker / Coach in my company with a simple twist: a bigger staff to be able to impact a bigger audience, pay off my mom’s house & fund my brother’s 2nd feature film (he’s the director of the soon to be released http://www.FindingJoyTheMovie.com), donate to two children’s charities that are near to my heart (one is in the US, one is in Tanzania), invest wisely, hire a vegan chef, develop the marketing for my “ByeByeJetLag” Process so as to transform the travel industry, take my close girlfriends on an all-expenses paid 3week adventure Bora-Bora..Maldives or somewhere heavenly like that and spoil them with gifts, adventure & spa treatments, book an even bigger venue for my annual “Gratitude Summit & Gratitude Awards: Women Honoring Women”, so as to honor even more amazing women.

What do you hope to accomplish in the future?
Impacting even more people to live their fullest potential, be it through my TEDxtalk (and these might be people I may never meet), or though my current Mindset Mastery Coaching, or the book(s) I will write & publish.

What do you like to do in your personal life?
I love to connect people, organize things, travel to a new country every year and yes, I admit it, I love my visits to the hair salon – my favorite is Jennifer J, owner of Juan Juan Salons, of Quality of life is key to me: I burned out 7 years ago when I was 34, while I was in a job I was very passionate about –speaking & coaching for a personal development company; so now that I’ve been a solo-preneur for several years now, I love that I get to choose how my days are spent and that I get to make my schedule now. I think balance with friends’ time, alone time, self-care/exercise, is an important key to business-expansion.

Please give us one or two shameless plugs.
A) Definitely watch my TEDxtalk And then share it with at least 3
http://www.JenniferJBeauty.com
women you care about – they will thank you!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdlzlBIiecQ It’s been labeled as “instant empowerment”

B) Apply to do a 1-1 phone Strategy Session with me – my gift to you: complimentary application with more info on http://wwwGratitudeInternational.com  http://www.PinaDeRosa.info

Please give us one plug for someone else or your favorite cause or charity.
My friend Tori & her sister Betsi are in business together…sisterpreneurs…and they are like the ‘Tom’s shoes of baby blankets’, i.e. for every baby blanket they sell, they give one to a child in need: http://www.lovemywoobie.com

What do you do to help stay your best ever?
Living the ‘Carpe Diem’ and truly living for the moment…learning to trust each day a little deeper…

How do you help other people be their best?
I discovered I have an innate ability to not only be able to identify someone’s inner block, but also to release that obstacle in a deep and permanent way - so I use that gift in my coaching practice, which is solely designed to support and empower people to be their best.

What is your favorite book to recommend to someone else to read?
“The Female Brain”, a classic, followed by one of my latest favorites is “Overcoming Underearning”

Tell us a secret ;)
I keep following the YESes and constantly stretch myself to trusting even deeper, even when I do not like it – but I do it anyway J

What is a favorite quote?
“You can be a leaf in the wind, or you can be the win” (by Pina De Rosa)

What is the way you recommend getting over an obstacle?
As I like to say, even if I were a brain surgeon, I could not perform brain surgery on myself ß--Get support, from either a professional like myself, or from one of your trusted friends – that’s what I did in order to overcome one of my biggest hurdles and trauma - you’ll know what I am referring to when you get to watch my TEDxtalk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdlzlBIiecQ  Find a way to get over and past it in such a way that it becomes irrelevant, so you can soar!! The world needs you.
